Families’ Activity Breaks (FAB) is a non-public funded, Tri-Service charitable initiative, providing fun and challenging activity camps around the UK for bereaved Military families.

FAB is staffed by volunteers from the Armed Forces, Defence civilians and Ex-Service personnel, helping as mentors, lending a helping hand or simply being someone to talk to.  They are all trained by a bereavement counselling service (CBUK) who specialise in supporting children and young adults facing bereavement.

We are looking for new volunteers for this worthy charity. The link below takes you to the FAB website where you can find further information and apply.

The camps are aimed at families who have suffered the loss of a serving loved one with children under the age of 19.  If you know of any families that would benefit from a fun packed week aimed at increasing their confidence and providing peer support by connecting with other families in a similar situation then please let them know about FAB and how they can help.
