BIG WHITE WALL - Covid-19 Stress

It’s normal to feel stressed when we face uncertainty around our health and lifestyles.

Stress is our emotional and physical response to pressure. We feel there are too many demands, and too few resources to cope. That pressure can arise from external factors including life events, health, living conditions, work, home or family.

Make time for yourself each day - relaxation, fun, enjoyment. Create a healthy balance - allow time for activities which give you a sense of achievement, those that give a sense of connecting with others, and of a sense of enjoyment.

Have you tried using an ACE (Achieve, Connect, Enjoy) planner? During times of increased stress, it can help to plan activities that contribute to your enjoyment, connection with others & sense of achievement. We might have to think differently about our plans during Covid-19, however writing down activities within your control and Government guidelines can be really helpful!

Big White Wall has a course dedicated to managing stress alongside a safe online community where you can share your ACE tips or express how you're feeling. Visit Big White Wall to find out more. www.bigwhitewall.com @bigwhitewall1
